The Driving Tests
To obtain a full UK driving licence there are two tests to pass; a theory and a practical.
The Theory Test |
The Practical Test |
Mock Tests |
|---|
When you approach test standard you will be offered a 'mock' test. Generally this will be carried out by another instructor other than your own, if possible. This is to simulate the 'lack of familiarity' you will experience on your real test. This however, is not for everyone. If that is you then you will not have to do one.
The aim of the mock test is to cover all of the different aspects you may come accross on a real test. This test will be marked in the same manner as the marking system used by the DSA on any of their tests.
This should give you a good insight into what to expect on the day and to better understand your strengths and weaknesses when put under pressure. It is not at all important to pass, but to indicate any points that may require further improvement before taking the real one.
If you have any questions about mock tests feel free to Contact Us and we will explain in more detail.
